Since the inception Baja SAEindia (2007), has proved to be a great platform for young budding engineers to explore and exhibits their engineering, technological skills, acquired during the academic tenure. It also natures the talent in application of academic learning’s to solve practical and live problems. We congratulate the team leader and team members of MIT -Wings Baja SAEindia-2010 team of Aurangabad. They deserves applaud for the excellent performance. MIT team has lived up to the expectations. The seeds sown by the first MIT team ROYALE M20 for Baja SAEindia 2007, started to bear the fruits. Wish the future MIT teams to follow and emulate the heroics of their seniors.
I also congratulate both ISM, Dhanbad; PSG Coimbatore, wish them to excel in future competitions also.
Special congratulations to all-girl team of IGIT, Delhi, for chairman's award, wishing their successors to reach the zenith in future.

M V Shet: Great Job Done...
I was a witness to the first ever event in 2007. BAJA 2009 was a great leap in terms of size and arrangements. Great job done by the organizers/ conveners and all those concerned with this event. I see it transforming in to one of the premier motoring events of the country.
We from Bharat Petroleum had the privilege to provide the lifeline of the event- fuel. And we will continue to do all that we can do to support this great event.

Dear All, As a convener, I Welcome you all to BAJA SAEINDIA. The credit for mooting this project goes to Dr. Pawan Goenka, President of SAEINDIA, President of M&M and also President of ARAI, Pune, followed by the Managing Committee Members of SAEINDIA who unanimously approved this event. I must thank series of personalities who have given guidance & encouragement for this project viz., Mr. Shrikant Marathe Director-ARAI, Mr. Sunil Chaturvedi & Rajesh Singh of NATRIP, Mr. Murli Iyer & Sam Barill of SAE International and Mr. Sanjay Sharma of JK Tyres who confirmed sponsorship in a fraction of second and many oher sponsors and Industry Leaders. I owe to Baja Organizing Committee & Sub-Committee Members, Baja's vendors, my colleagues at ARAI, NATRIP, SAEINDIA, SAE International and ofcourse the Judges, faculty advisors, the participating & volunteering students and the spectatotors. I thank my boss Mr. Neelkanth Marathe, Dy Director at ARAI who has never discouraged me for Baja and who is sure that I will coverup my official work after completion of this event. I also thank my family members and friends towards whom I was a bit negligent due to Baja's overload.
